How the clip planner works
Round-trip cost % is buy fee + sell fee + assumed full bid–ask spread (fees from your maker/taker mix). Dollar cost is notional × RT%. The minimum favorable move to flat equals that RT%. Optional target multiple scales the flat move: target = RT% × multiple. Cushion-aligned clip is notional ÷ multiple so total exposure stays sized to the cushion you want before committing the full slice. Equal-clip ladder splits the full notional into ceil(multiple) clips (at least 1).
