Spot Limit-Then-Chase Remainder

Size the limit, then the market leftover. See base, USDT, blend, and dollars at risk — then open Kinetix Trade (Spot) to rest the limit and chase only if it misses.

Example: risk $100 if price hits invalidation
Example: 100 USDT you can live with at the stop
Example: rest BTC at $64,800
Chase price if the limit misses
Must sit below the limit and the ask
Applied on entry and exit at stop
Limit leg — if the rest fills
Limit base
Limit USDT
$ at risk (limit only)
Chase leg — if the limit misses
Chase max base
Chase max USDT
$ at risk (chase only)
If both fill — cancel the rest before you chase
Blended average
Combined base / USDT
$ at risk (both fill)

Planning math only — not investment advice, not a profit guarantee, and not an order ticket. Cancel the resting limit before you chase so you do not stack both fills. Live fees and fills can differ.

How the two legs are sized

For a spot buy, invalidation I sits below the limit L and the live ask A. Fee rate f is applied on open and on a stop exit. Risk per unit of base at price P is P×(1+f) − I×(1−f). In risk cap mode, base = cap ÷ unit risk. In quote budget mode, base = budget ÷ P×(1+f), then dollars at risk follow from unit risk. The chase leg is the same math at the ask — usually less base, because the stop is closer. Blended average if both fill is (limit USDT + chase USDT) ÷ (limit base + chase base).

Educational planning aid for Spot. Size the limit first, chase only the leftover, then execute on Kinetix Trade when ready.
