Planning math only — not investment advice, not a profit guarantee, and not an order ticket. Trailing stops do not guarantee a fill at your trigger; peaks can extend and pullbacks can gap. Live fees and fills can differ.

How the trailing peak stop is sized

Stop trigger = peak × (1 − trail% ÷ 100). Gross gain at the high = base × (peak − entry). Fee rate f applies on entry and exit. Cost per base sold = entry × (1+f); proceeds per base at the stop = stop × (1−f). Fee-adjusted locked profit on the sell clip = sell qty × (stop×(1−f) − entry×(1+f)). In full exit mode, sell qty = base. In partial trim mode, sell qty = base × trim% and runner = base − sell qty. Runner exposure at mark is runner notional at the current mark. Tighter trails raise the stop (lock more if hit); wider trails leave more room but lock less.

Educational planning aid for Spot. Trail from the actual peak you care about, then execute on Kinetix Trade when ready.
