Spot Breakout-Retest Clip Sizer
Rest the limit. Don't chase the break. Size one retest buy under the breakout — then open Kinetix Trade (Spot) and place the resting clip yourself.
Planning math only — not investment advice, not a profit guarantee, and not an order ticket. Rest the sized limit; do not chase an extended print. Live fees and fills can differ.
How the retest clip is sized
Suggested invalidation sits under the breakout: breakout × (1 − buffer%). Distance breakout → entry is (breakout − entry) ÷ breakout. Fee rate f applies on open and on a stop exit. Risk per unit of base is entry×(1+f) − stop×(1−f). In dollar-risk cap mode, max base = cap ÷ unit risk. In quote budget mode, max base = budget ÷ entry×(1+f), and dollars at risk follow from unit risk. USDT is base × entry. If live mark is above the breakout, rest the limit — don't chase. If mark is through invalidation, skip. If mark sits in the retest zone (between stop and breakout), the clip is actionable.
