How the chase haircut is applied

Extension is (live − reference) ÷ reference. Chase keep uses a progressive curve: at or below the reference, keep = 1; above it, keep = max(0.20, 1 ÷ (1 + (ext ÷ 0.05)^1.35)) so larger extensions cut size harder. Full (pre-haircut) notional maps dollar risk to clip size with a planning 5% adverse path: min(equity, max $ risk ÷ 0.05). Marketable clip is full × keep; base is that notional ÷ live. Limit-bid rows reprice at −0.5% / −1% / −2% under live and re-run the same keep curve at each limit (usually a larger clip if the mark is closer to the reference). Place the marketable clip — or rest a limit — on Kinetix Trade yourself.
