Spot Prior-Close Gap Clip Sizer
Turn prior close, live/open, quote equity, and a max-loss % into gap %, invalidation, and a sized clip — fade toward fill or chase continuation — then open Kinetix Trade (Spot) and place the ticket yourself.
Planning math only — not investment advice, not a profit guarantee, and not an order ticket. Gaps can keep running; live fees and fills can differ from this sketch.
How the gap clip is sized
Gap % is (live − prior) ÷ prior. Max risk dollars = quote equity × max-loss %. Fade toward fill: on a gap-up, rest a limit buy at prior; invalidation sits one full gap below prior. On a gap-down, buy the live print; invalidation sits one full gap below live. Chase continuation: on a gap-up, market-buy live; invalidation = prior (fill = thesis broken). On a gap-down, no long clip — stay flat or sell a bag on Spot. Clip base = risk ÷ (entry − invalidation), then clipped to quote equity at entry.
